3 month qualifying period for dla
My granddaughter was diagnosed with type 1 diabetes. A claim was sent to the DLA and although she has been awarded the highest rate care allowance it has not been backdated. Apparently now the DLA do not count the first 3 months of any claim - have anyone else found this to be the case?

Just wondering if anyone has found that they got a decision on their DLA renewal fairly quickly, based on the new 4 page renewal form given out in some parts of the country.
