Hi everyone,
Looking for some advise on my ds renewal for DLA
We have been on a two and a half year roundabout journey and have been told ds who is 7 does not have autism and he has been discharged by our pead . No explaination of what to do next or were we go from here.
His care needs are still the same and we still have the same problems. It like he lives in his own world. He has no common sense at all and added to that he is hyperactive with a very small attention span. He also has a obssession with trying anything he can put in his mouth (like a baby has to mouth everything) and trying to take things apart he needs to know how it works. Not good when he distroys electrical items which are pluged in:eek: because of this he has to be watched very closely.
Any advice on this i would be very grateful.

The diagnosis is irrelevant. All they care about is whether he has care and /or mobility needs above the average 7 year old.Sealed pot challenge #232. Gold stars from Sue-UU - :staradmin :staradmin £75.29 banked
