I was awarded DLA just a few months back, my condition is getting worse. do i have to call and inform them? and if so, is my case reviewed? eg, re filling in of forms etc?

Have your care and /or mobility needs changed to the extent where you meet the criteria for the next rate?

if your care mobility needs have changed then you need to inform the dla unit in Blackpool
  • If your condition is getting worse then its your choice if you inform the DLA people or not,if you are reviewed there is always a chance of getting a lower award,so its really upto you, especially if the change maybe short term.
Of course if someones condition improves they have a duty to inform dla once the improvement has been established.
