Not mine?
Please move to appropriate thread if I posted in the wrong one. My mam moved out from my house over 2 years ago and all her credit cards are registered here, it's gotten to the point that she has so many letters here that I have opened them all. I told her when she moved out to change her address. She hasn't done this and…

Refund and credit card interest
Hi all, It's been a while since I've frequented the forums but I'm just looking for advice about interest charged on a credit card. In February, we booked a holiday with TUI for August. Upon adding it to the calendar, we realised it clashed with a family commitment so we cancelled the holiday on the same day it was booked.…

Best Cashback/Reward & No Foreign Fee Credit Card?
Hi there, I'm looking for the best credit card, which offers the following; 1) No "ownership fee" (i.e. - no set monthly/yearly fee, for owning the credit card) 2) Cashback offer, for every purchase (ideally as cashback on the statement, though a gift card will do, if it's a widely usable one - e.g. Amazon/supermarkets) 3)…

I'm unable to get a NW members credit card now as been declined. I have 2 dafaults that drop off my credit report in 2 years, do you think I stand a better chance to reapply in 2 years and likely be offered the members card? I currently have Vanquis credit card and £1000 overdraft with NW. Been managing my finances well…

Citi credit card PPI
Hi, Has anyone had any issues with citi cards and missold PPI claims. I am currently having an ongoing problem with this company, as they keep sending my letters stating I missed the PPI deadline. I have proof that this is incorrect as I sent my claim via MYPPIREFUND at the beginning of August last year. This also included…

Daylight Robbery
Without my knowledge Capital One credited my account with a Plevin PPI refund and then promptly withdrew it. Because my account had shown a credit payment my monthly direct debit which should have cleared the account was not taken. Because of that my account went into overdraft and I will now get a £12 penalty charge.…

Annual Statements
Just received annual statement from NatWest. The total spend and total amount paid figures do not equal. There's a difference of over £1,500! We settle balances promptly and all charges are zero so why is there a difference?

Another PayPal Credit rant - this time about the so-called payment holiday
It would seem that PayPal Credit are finally offering a 3 month payment holiday, however it is not automatic - you have to contact them. The problem is that you can't get hold of them as the phone number has been removed and the only option is messaging them. The PayPal virtual agent response is: PayPal Virtual Agent11:18…

Section 75 for refunding the charges on a flight cancellation?
Evening all, Another CV19 related question... I booked my wife flights for a trip to the US over the Easter weekend, this was understandably cancelled. The flights were located via a screensaver type site, with the booking made via an online travel agent. They have offered to refund me or keep the money in credit with Aer…

Store card protection (Oasis and Warehouse)
I have store cards for Oasis and Warehouse, both of which are provided by Ikano bank. With Oasis and Warehouse falling into administration, and now looking for a buyer, I wanted to know what my rights are for orders on these cards. I'm reluctant to order from either of them now, but I know if one has a sale my wife will…

PayPal Credit rant
I used PayPal Credit for some purchases taking advantage of 0% interest for 4 months offers. I made repayments every month and all was going well. Then I made a classical mistake - not reading the small print, too good to be true and all that. I made a bigger purchase, I bought a sofa on 18 monthly installments with…

Who is at fault my bank or credit card supplier?
Nationwide Credit Card wrote to me at the start of the year saying as I hadn’t used it in a while, they were going to cancel it. I like to have a few cards with little or no balance for stoozing, emergencies etc etc. So I used it for a small transaction just to keep it activated. I also went into my DD setup and made sure…

Are lenders able to distinguish money transfers on your file? And, if so, are they viewed negatively in any way like cash advances? Ta
