Options re Barclaycard 5% interest rate rise
Hi all I have received my latest Barclaycard statement advising me that they are putting up the interest rate on my card from 17.9% to 22.9%. Apparently, though, I am "in control" and whilst they "would love" me to "stay with Barclaycard" I "may prefer to close" my "account because of this change". They say that if I…

Worth getting Halifax Clarity with 21.9% APR?
Hello All, I'm travelling to South Africa in December and applied for a Halifax Clarity card as recommended in the Money Saving Expert travel section. Credit Rports and Vanquis
Hi I have had problems in the past with credit, but from March this year everything has been paid and defaults have 'fallen off' (the six year thing), so my credit report show show no signs of defaults or CCJ's. However, I have applied for a couple of loans recently and have been turned down. I still have my old Vanquis…

Barclaycard?
Barclaycard are offering one of the best deals I can see for my circumstances at the moment but tbh I am put off by the number of threads slating Barclaycard in here. 12 month 0% free only 50 weeks free
I have a 0% Credit Card which I opened 50 weeks ago and with it being advertised as 12 months at 0% interest silly me thought the 0% interest would end exactly 12 months after applying for the card (I kept a note of the date I applied) and that they would only start charging interest after this. No this in not the case:…
