newbie question on credit report/score/notes

Basically, my bank told me I had adverse credit information/ notes on my credit score so I signed up with experian and read what was on on file.
It looks like there are two notes with a status of 'default' - one from C L FINANCE LTD from 2007 for 160 pounds showing as satisfied (I think acting on behalf of my Bank when I accidentally bounced a loan repayment) and one from EVERYTHINGEVERYWHERE TA ORANGE from 2008 for 295 (huge roaming bill due to a faulty handset dialing in for data), also satisfied and yet 'default'.
The question is, if they have been satisfied (paid), can I have them removed at all? How do I go about doing that or do I need to wait 6 years each?
Thanks in advance and apologies if I posted this in the wrong forum

Ddi you default on these debts?
If the answer is a clear yes, then there's no chance at all of getting them removed. They will drop off after six years and become less of an issue after five.
Until then, expect pain."We want the finest wines available to humanity, we want them here, and we want them now!"0 -
what does `default` actually mean? i have paid them in full, both were just hick-ups whereby I could not pay them on time / DD bounced but were subsequently paid in full...0

There you go, a default explained.

You could ask them to remove them, nicely....explain the situation etc
I think you'd be very lucky to get them removed but good luck."We want the finest wines available to humanity, we want them here, and we want them now!"0
