Halifax and experian
Hi people... I just had a weird experience. Perhaps somebody can shed some light on it. I applied for the Halifax 12 month spending card today, and within a few hours had a call asking for some details from my application... Ok, it's not too personal, and no passwords being asked for, so I'm not too worried. Next this guy…

Citibank - what a joke!!
We applied online for a low interest cc to Citibank with a balance transfer. Their home page advertised "why wait, get a decision immediately". The immediate reply was... we will contact you within 7 days! 12 days later - an email arrived asking us to phone for a decision, which we did. We were told that a decision hadn't…

Tesco Credit card intrest
Three months ago I paid off the credit card, the total amount on the statement was two days late. A bank transfer took longer than I thought. Next statement I paid interest, fine my fault, but we use this card all the time for gathering points and so on. The last two statements have been paid in full and on time, but we…

My Sky card 0% is due to run out on 9th March. I have to make my minimum payment by 5th March. But the little summary box says estimated interest on your next statement £0. Does that mean I won't have to pay off the balance till my next statement?

Hi This may seem like an odd enquiry. I would like to find a card that ONLY issues electronic statements rather than paper ones. Question re 0% cards
Hello, I was wondering if you could give your opinion on something - I have £5,500 on an MBNA deal which runs out in April (it was much more but I've been paying off £200 pcm). As I know that I wasn't going to pay of the remainder in a year I decided to opt for the Citibank 5.8% life of balance card (as recommended by this…

Really poor settlement offer!
I asked RBS card to give me details of all my charges etc and they added up to about £350 :-) However, they've offered me a rubbish (no fault on their part, we're all still friends) settlement of £65! Apparently this is the difference between the £12 'fair charge' and the previous higher charges :-( The card balance is…

Credit Card Interest Rate Hike
I just discovered my credit card interest rate was hiked up from 18% to 28% and again to 34% (!!!) for no apparent reason. When I queried it, they could not explain why this was done and offered to immediately reduce the rate back down to 23%. However, when I asked for a refund for overpaid interest they started quoting…

Hey guys I'm looking for some info I applied for a Goldfish card at the end of last week. I've not had anything through to say either yes or no and was wondering how long it usually take.
