Goldfish

Options
Hey guys

I'm looking for some info

I applied for a Goldfish card at the end of last week. I've not had anything through to say either yes or no and was wondering how long it usually take.

My credit rating is not the best but mainly due to late payments etc from about 4 years ago. I haven't missed any payments etc for at least a year.

Just not sure what to expect and wondering what time span others waited for for to hear the decision

I applied for a Goldfish card recently as well.

I received a letter after about 10 days saying we have tried to call you numerous times and please can you ring us.

I checked the phone numbers on my app, mobile and work - both correct so they must be dialing wrongly, work after 5:30 or mobile between midnight and 8am.

Anyway, the CC application online only had 2 spaces for addresses and mine didn't add up to the 3 years they require so had to speak to an underwriter to give the other address.

The letter had a reference number on it for me to quote.

I hope speaking to the underwriter doesn't affect my quidco £41

I got one last year and it took ages!
I knew they had given it to me as the BT went through about 2 weeks before I got the confirmation letter! From application to card was about 6 weeks!
  • Got a rejection letter this morning - typical.

    thanks for the replies though
