in Credit cards
I am going to try long story as short as possible.
1) Took an credit card with the sick/out work insurance was is all same page document you use to sign for under credit act legal bits.
2) Became sick an had to stop work and now on Highest Rate Disability benefit etc...
3) The credit card didn't process my application correctly for card correctly and did not process sick insurance.
4) As them for copes of paper work relating to card application. And it there I ticked sick and signed/dated for it.
5) Told them will that pay as applied for insurance but they were to lazy to activate it in first place. Seeing at there problem and not mine.
6) No one has ever taking this to court as such no ccj etc on credit report's.
7) 7 years latter and they are still trying to get money. But as I understand it they can not now as it is over 6 years and did not start legal action thought the courts within 6 years.

The 6 years you refer to starts I believe from the date of last contact you had with bank, so if as it sounds you have been in regular contact with them regarding the insurance, the debt wont be statute barred0
