Tesco Credit card intrest

in Credit cards
Three months ago I paid off the credit card, the total amount on the statement was two days late. A bank transfer took longer than I thought.
Next statement I paid interest, fine my fault, but we use this card all the time for gathering points and so on.
The last two statements have been paid in full and on time, but we are still having to paid interest because we have a rolling balance.
Is this right?
