Electronic Statements

Options
Hi

This may seem like an odd enquiry. I would like to find a card that ONLY issues electronic statements rather than paper ones. I know a few companies used to do this or offer this a few years ago (and drove me demented by doing it!) However now I want one!: Its my 25th wedding anniversary and I want to make a large and secret purchase for my wife. Not so easy when you just routinely open each others mail.

All help appreciated

Cahoot do this, I almost never get anything through the post from them. You will of course get a new card and PIN, which will be impossible to stop coming by post whichever card you choose!

Edit: Actually, thinking about this it might be worth you asking at some local bank branches. We've got a couple customers whose mail comes to the branch, nothing gets sent to their home address at all. You might be able to get them to send everything to a branch for collection, so you wouldn't have to worry about hiding anything at home.

Cahoot do not issue cards anymore........
Aiming to be debt free....but still off target
  • HSBC might allow you to stop paper statements and just go online, they have that option with their current accounts. Lloyds also have a similar option with their accounts, maybe give the both of them a quick call and ask?
  • RBS are doing online statements for current accounts too... see if their credit cards are the same?

Egg certainly don't do paper at all.

Have you asked your present card(s) if they'll just stop the paper statements? The only card I know that won't let you stop paper is Morgan Stanley.

Halifax won't suppress paper statements for their credit cards.
  • You can opt to have no paper statements for a Nationwide Credit Card.
