Egg Money, Low limit
I also have a Egg Card, I am currently trying to transfer available balance from Egg Card to Egg money, it seems to me that they think this practice to be a pain & are therefore making it difficult. Has any one had this succesfully done before? Also has anyone had a over limit fee refunded by Egg before?

Transferring debt to other people?
I have been tarting effectively for the past 18 months and it's time to transfer my debt (currently £3500) onto the next 0% card. I have applied for two offers, one of the charity cards (NSPCA I think) and the post office card, but have been turned down on both occasions. I was wondering whether it's possible (and more…

I applied for an Egg Money card online and it came up with a message saying they would be in contact with me - that was about 2 weeks ago now. Was going to contact them but just wondered how long it had taken for others to be contacted or if they had just been issued one immediately through the website? I have previously…

Debit Card Fraud
Hello My husband recently withdrew £40 from an ATM in a shop (one of those independant ones that charge you £1.50 per transaction.) The following day on our statement, we noticed that the machine had taken £40, refunded £40, taken out £40 twice more and then charged us the £1.50 for each transaction. After referring this…

I recently applied for my credit file from Equifax by post. It was fine but it didn't show me as being on the electoral register for my current address (I have recently moved). Hsbc
I've tried getting a new 0% card but can't get one. Anyway, I used HSBC's web chat to find out how much the interest rate would be to balance transfer to them. I currently owe them nothing, Capital One £1800 (15% interest), and Nationwide £1000 (14%). Anyway, HSBC web chat said that their rate was 9.9% for six months which…

Capital One 0% BT
Hi I've got 2 credit cards, one with a big balance the other with medium balance. We've been working on our finance management recently and have managed to control their use so we're now trying to pay them off. Virgin 0% if you come back to us offer
Hi there, I've just had a very interesting conversation with MBNA/ Virgin about their 0% balance transfer deal. I phoned up to say that I wanted to cancel my card and, when asked, said it was because my current 0% deal with them had run out and I'd transferred my balance away. I was then told that if, after the 0% deal I'd…

GE money
I used to have a GE money storecard for Mothercare. I always paid off the balance each month as the only reason I kept the card (DD now 11) is they still send money off vouchers and I use them for present buying. A couple of months ago when the bill came in I mislaid it. I though it was for £12.50 (but it actually £11.60)…
