Do Egg use equifax or experian checks?

I'm looking at applying for a new card. I have a decent equifax rating, but poor experian as they can't trace me on the electoral register.

I can probably sort that out, but it will take a while, so I was just wondering which agency Egg use..

I think they use experian! Apply for all my family members and they searched Experian ONLY

I recently applied or an Egg Money card and was rejected, so I sent off to the 3 credit agencies for my statutory credit files. Egg only checked with Experian and Experian had listed a default which I didnt have.

I phoned Egg up to explain and insisted on being assessed by a human being and not a machine. They kindly obliged, I had a phone interview and now I have an Egg card as well as getting that faulty default deleted from my Experian account.

Egg searched Experian for me, that was the end of May. Barclaycard (if you don't already have one) tend to check Equifax, obviously it's not a guarantee but if you search this board you'll find that it's most peoples experience.

I've just got a copy of my Experian file and there is a Barclaycard search listed on there.

I haven't seen my Equifax one yet.
