Getting 0% cash of credit card
Will this work? I want to get 0% cash off a new credit card. The T&C's say no money transfers, O% is only applicable to purchases. What about me selling something I already own on Ebay for £5k and then me paying myself for it on my credit card? Does anyone know why this wouldn't fit in with the T&C's??

Credit card cheques
I'm needing to pay off a booked holiday early in December - what is the best way to do this: Should I use a Credit card cheque, cost £12 per cheque, so that I avoid paying the Travel Company 2% for using my Visa Card - on a £4k trip 2% is worth saving! If I use the Credit Cheque I could then transfer to a 0% balance…

Premium Bonds on 0% on purchase card.
I thought about buying some Premium Bonds with a 0% on purchases for 12 months card recently. The plan was to buy them with the card, pay the monthly minimum repayment with my own cash and at the end withdraw the bonds to pay off the card. At the end I would get my repayments back plus, hopefully, some winnings. Problem is…

Useful tip re: payment protection cover
I've just phoned up to cancel my PPI on my MBNA card because I was paying 72p per £100 and am self-employed so thought it was a waste of money. Am currently paying £17.58 per month on my balance, which I thought would be better spent on reducing my debt. The policy covers unemployment, accident/sickness, carer cover and…

Not sure if this is the right place for this but, along the same lines as the Amazon offer, BMI are giving away 20,000 destinations miles (which are their version of Air Miles) when you make your first spend on their card. Sounds pretty good to me - applied for mine tonight. Here's the link:…

Egg Card
Can anyone help with my predicament? In April our 0% offer was running out so we e-mailed to cancel, we were duly contacted by phone and offered a further 6 months of 0% only on balance transfers. We obviously began to take advantage of this by transferring money from all over, especially when Egg let us increase our…
