Premium Bonds on 0% on purchase card.

Options
I thought about buying some Premium Bonds with a 0% on purchases for 12 months card recently.
The plan was to buy them with the card, pay the monthly minimum repayment with my own cash and at the end withdraw the bonds to pay off the card.
At the end I would get my repayments back plus, hopefully, some winnings.

Problem is that, as far as I can see, you can't buy bonds with a credit card????

I know some do a SBT to use the card for this purpose, is there a way to buy using a credit card????

What do you think?

I think you've answered your own question here. You need "cash" and the only (sensible) way to raise cash from a credit card is via an SBT.
  • No you cant buy Premium bonds with C/card only debit card as, to quote the telephone customer service adviser "We need the money straight away". I was going to put some on cashback c/c then guaranteed to make a little something from them, but alas no!
