HSBC Srudent Credit Card
Seems nice but flexible.The customer service is nice and helpfull. However they have a strict credit limit for students for £250. Whatever happens you cant make them buldge.

Capital One Credit Card.
One of the biggest nightmare companies I have come across in 15 years of experience. They have crap customer service, their credit scoring meathod is in ambiguity and I believe that their is no consistency between their talks.
Further more, You expect your card to work in most case [not that I dont have balance, infact they have a deposit of 300£ which was due to an error payment from my account which took ages to sort out and then another few ages to refund my money back.....that too no interest which I would have been charged if I had not paid!], but be it you or your addittional card holder, if you travel outside Britain, make sure you dont rely on this card as it will be sure to fail.

Further more it will fail occassionally due to their poor infrastructure and services in the UK as well saying Insufficient Funds. If you call custmore service, it shouldnot do that is the only reply. If you are abroad and need some emergency credit even for any medial life or death condition, they will be sure not to increase your limit. Even if you ask them to withdraw the money through your British Debit Card and process it as a standard sale which is done by all the nationalised banks and credit card companies in UK. So watch out.

im not a big fan of morgan stanley... was with them for about 4 years and had nothing but arrogant staff to deal with, plus their card was a pain to use abroad.

I really like nationwide, friendly staff and reliable card delivery etc. i also have nothing bad to say about amex...
