Sainsbury's credit card
Have one of these on order and intend to buy a car on it (c. £6000). But dealer tells me if I buy by credit card I will pay 2% extra. That's a hefty £120 and defeats the whole object of being able to get a year's free interest period. Can anyone suggest a means of getting round this somehow?

MBNA - No maximum on BT fees

Just back from stoozing hols in Antigua. On 1 Nov I paid off Mr Smartsaver's LloydsTSB Platinum card £8815.00 as 0% deal ran out 12 Nov. ;) We returned to a letter from Lloyds advising 'Your account is seriously over your credit limit by £8715.00'. HSBC ONLINE CARD - BE CAREFULL
Hi guys with regards to the new online hsbc card it says its rate is 9.9% variable but make sure you read the small print which i didnt. I was accepted and it came through the post at a whopping 18.9% interest which is far worse than some i have now. Paul

End date for 0% on MBNA cards
I have a Virgin card and my husband has an MBNA Platinum card. The end dates for 0% balances orginally showed as 24/05/05 and 03/06/05 on the online account maintenance screen. Now they are showing as 01/05/05 and 01/06/05. Has anyone else noticed this? ???
