Non return of credit agreement fine
I took out home insurance with Budget Insurance last month and never got round to sending the Credit Agreement back within the 14 days stipulated. I have now been sent a letter saying they will add £15 to my monthly payment because of this. How can they justify this costing them £15? Can they get away with this??

Scotcall card through door
Hi, Had a card from "Scotcall" thru the door with a mobile number on. Thing is I don't owe anything apart from what's on a credit card, and that's up to date. There were some debts in the 90s when I was a student and various companies have sent letters trying to claim these over the years. They're all 100% statute barred…

To accept a gesture of goodwill or not?
Very briefly, I ordered a bed from a large department store before Christmas. The first bed turned up broken, the second bed had parts missing and the pieces were different colours. The bed we ordered was then out of stock (probably because we'd had most of them in varying stages of being useless ;) ) and we've ended up…
