Santander - Private to Lite
Anyone got experience of this? Santander tell me they won't do this, seems my only option is to open a Lite account alongside my Private account, why would I do this and pay an extra monthly fee? They upgraded my previous account to Private several years ago promising benefits that never really materialised - now I'm being…

Joint Current (Or Savings) account
Hey all Partner and I are thinking of a joint account for things like holiday fund, etc, it doesn't necessarily have to be a current account (although an account with card(s) would be handy) - but we're a bit unsure as to how to go about it. Help with safety concerns
Perhaps the title should read reassurance rather than help. I'm an older person trying to embrace modern banking but it just seems to be moving too fast - for me anyway! I still find internet banking both extremely useful and frightening. Starling is my new card for travelling and I love it. Being a worrier I decided I…

Lloyds Club Current Account Interest rate
Watch the interest rate on this account. They advertise 1% on balances up to 4000 and 2% on 4000-5000. This does not mean you are getting 2% on 5000 - you only get 2% on the balance above 4000, up to 5000 (and 0% beyond). This means the interest rate is 1.2% on a constant 5000, and 1.11% on a constant 4500. I am not sure…
