How long do Yorkshire Bank take to process a debit card refund into my bank account?

I was wondering if anyone could help me. 
I am expecting a refund onto my MasterCard Debit Card with Yorkshire Bank. 
I was told the refund was processed yesterday from the retailer and they had sent the refund to my bank. 
How long do Yorkshire Bank take to return the money into my account please?

I know it will take a few days, but I am desperate for this money back and a few days could be anything between 1 day or 7 days. When I banked with Barclays refunds almost always were back in my account the next day by 5pm. I know all banks have different systems and processes but I really need to know an exact timescale for this refund.
Anyone could help please who are with Yorkshire Bank and have any idea how long I would be waiting for this refund ?

It is not Yorkshire bank that you need to ask but the retailer - I am waiting for a small refund from someone from beginning of lockdown in March.
More often than not if they really have made the refund it should show within 3-5 working days.

Not with Yorkshire bank. It is the same for ALL banks.
A refund takes exactly the same length of time to process as a debit payment.
Yorkshire bank have no part in it. In fact the 1st they know of it is when it hits your account, as credits do not require authorisation. It is all down to the retailer & their merchant bank.
Given it is the weekend, I would expect late monday/tuesday to hit your account.
