Money withdraw from a post office

Is it possible to withdraw money from a bank account in a post office? HSBC bank is now closed on a Saturday due to the corona virus. I need to withdraw some cash tomorrow and was hoping I would be able to do this in the PO instead

Yes you can - but beware of the limit per day - some PO cap the limit at £250 others the daily limit that your bank provides (£500?).0

If you mean whether it is possible to pay cash into somebody else's account: the answer to that is no, whether you deposit the cash at a Post Office or a Bank or Building Society. If the Post Office handles cash deposits into your bank account, you can then use online/app banking to pay to another person's account.Blanky55 said:Can you do direct cash transfers through a post office?0
