Typical Overdraft Waiting Times
Good day fellow MSE members, I would just like to ask the question with what experience people have had, that have had to wait for overdrafts (no overdraft given at account opening). How long did it take you to become eligible and for what amounts with which banks? I know the typical guideline given is 6 months, but I…

Blacklisted by Revolut
I have had a Revolut card for around a year and used it often. Just been on a business trip and in the last few days the card was blocked as was access to the app on my phone (it would only allow me straight to online support). When I asked them to reactivate my account they fobbed me off with the same message of account…

I'm looking to use the switch incentive offer from another bank (say HSBC), but wish to keep my old account open. In order to use CASS, will it work to open another random current account (say HBOS), switch 2 of my DDs and my salary to the HBOS one and instruct HSBC to close that account through CASS rather than my current…

Advice regarding a basic bank account please.
I am in a position where I need to pay a payment for childcare weekly (amount varies each week). I've been doing it online but my current bank account is a pain to do it with. It takes me a relatively long time to log into the website, then to do the transaction - for what should be a quick task. I'd like to be able to do…

Unarranged overdrafts
Does anyone know if there is a general rule on how much a bank will let someone go overdrawn?
