Bank account advice needed!
Hi, I hope that I am posting in the correct place. I am looking to set up my own business and have some banking queries. Firstly, do I need to have a business account set up? Secondly, I have bad credit so will I be able to get a business bank account? I would hate to try and get an account set up for them to turn around…
Coventry First account - no more last minute holidays
The Coventry First account debit card can no longer be used abroad unless you give them 2 weeks notice of your intention to go on holiday! I wonder if they have thought through what happens when people use their debit card to purchase something online from a non-UK-based company

advice on A & L premier current account

I usually just throw all mine out, but have just recently found out about fraud..eeek! So i'm starting to keep them, but my mum said to me to get a bank book from the bank to keep them in, now i'm not sure what this is? Do i just go into a branch and ask for one?
Basic bank account with chequebook
I wondered if anyone knew of a basic bank account with a cheque book, I hardly ever send cheques but sometime i need to and i have to ask a freind / relative for one, and give them them the money my credit is being repaired at the minute, So would need to be a basic account

Was getting rid of oldpaperwork - accidently ripped upa cheque from Bradford & Bingley (remember them??) into 4 pieces. Its a computer printed cheque. It was the final divident payments for having a few shares with them - before they went ***s-up! No chance of getting a re-issue Will my bank accept it?

HSBC online banking slow.
I've been trying to get onto my HSBC account online for days and it either won't load up at all or goes extremely slowly. Think I've successfully gotten onto it twice in probably 20 attempts. Anybody else having this problem?

Bank of Scotland, Halifax and Lloyds, which are all part of the Lloyds Banking Group, will shut at least 177 of their bank branches in 2024 and 2025, the Group has confirmed.
