Hi, I hope that I am posting in the correct place. I am looking to set up my own business and have some banking queries. Firstly, do I need to have a business account set up? Secondly, I have bad credit so will I be able to get a business bank account? I would hate to try and get an account set up for them to turn around…

where do keep your statements?
I usually just throw all mine out, but have just recently found out about fraud..eeek! So i'm starting to keep them, but my mum said to me to get a bank book from the bank to keep them in, now i'm not sure what this is? Do i just go into a branch and ask for one?

Basic bank account with chequebook

Ripped up cheque...
Was getting rid of oldpaperwork - accidently ripped upa cheque from Bradford & Bingley (remember them??) into 4 pieces. Its a computer printed cheque. It was the final divident payments for having a few shares with them - before they went ***s-up! No chance of getting a re-issue Will my bank accept it?
