A&L £100 Incentive question

I opened my A&L account a few weeks ago to avail of the £100 + £25 referral fee. Ticked the boxes for transfering my DD's and wages into the account.
Just got a letter to say they wrote to my bank asking for all my DD information and because my bank ignored the request, they have put my request on hold and i need to get this information and send it to them.
In this case, could i not set up 1 DD with the bank and put in the £500 every month and then take it straight back out again and close the account once i get the free money?? Its one thing having A&L do everything for me, but its too much hassel now sorting it out myself!

The same thing happened to me. You will need to tell them about at least one direct debit you have so that they can switch it, otherwise you will not qualify for the £100. Just dig out an old direct debit agreement letter or two, which should have all the information you need (company name, originator ID and reference), then send them the information. You can then fund the account with £500 per month until your incentive is paid, then close the account.0
