Basic bank account with chequebook

I wondered if anyone knew of a basic bank account with a cheque book, I hardly ever send cheques but sometime i need to and i have to ask a freind / relative for one, and give them them the money

my credit is being repaired at the minute, So would need to be a basic account

HSBC CC Reclaim Total: £180.00 PAID IN FULL :D

    Norwich and Peterborough. On their basic account they offer a cheque book but no debit card.

    No I don't have one sorry, but i was interested about 12 months back.

    They still do this account though. Give them a ring.
