The Coventry First account debit card can no longer be used abroad unless you give them 2 weeks notice of your intention to go on holiday!
I wonder if they have thought through what happens when people use their debit card to purchase something online from a non-UK-based company

Perhaps you'd like to re-read the letter they sent you. Because the one I received from them says the following:
"You’ll need to tell us, no more than two weeks before you travel."
That means you can tell them the night beforehand. But you shouldn't tell them a month beforehand.
And the internet purchase question isn't an issue - I believe this only applies to 'in person' transactions.
Perhaps you'd like to re-title this thread?
Everyone needs something to believe in.

In my mind it = "at least two weeks before"0

"No more than two weeks" means "at most, two weeks", just as if I asked you to choose a number "no more than 5", that would mean choose "any number up to and including 5".
So two weeks is the maximum advance notice that you are able to give, i.e. don't call them 15 days in advance. But any time until the moment you actually want to use the card abroad is fine.0 -

No. "No less than" is the same as "at least". But that's not what it says. It says "no more than". Exactly the opposite.
If it said "no earlier than two weeks before" I could see where you're coming from. But it doesn't.
Anyway, I just rang them, and my interpretation is correct. So my original point stands - the OP is incorrect.Everyone needs something to believe in.

Well, Bernard thanks for calling them and clearing up the confusion0
