Natwest Application form
In October 04 I was selected to go on a trip, and set up an account with natwest for my fundraising. I'm certain I asked for a £300 overdraft on that account. Come July, I needed to make another payment, and wrote a cheque for £300 on a £50 or so balance. It bounced, as I only had a £100 overdraft on this account. I am…

Can't believe HSBC. They have rung me three times today on my mobile phone saying that they need to go through security with me before they speak to me about an important matter. Each time I have refused to give details saying I have no idea who they are and I am not giving out my details. I have just rung their help desk,…

Why First Direct is one of the best!
Hi Since everyone has been bashing First Direct over their introduction of the £10 fee for some customers, i thought i would stand up and defend them. Sure, they are not perfect but in my opinion they are one of the best for day to day banking. Try finding a bank who will give you ALL of the following: 1) A £250 cheque…

Alliance & leicester "best banana republic" bank.
Before I start, I am sure many people would disagree with me. I would have done the same, noting the fact that alliance and Leicester are giving the highest interest rate, but I am gradually getting fed up with this bank. It was a nice Tuesday afternoon last week, I entered Alliance and Leicester branch, broad street…

Small Business Current Account - Which one?
Are there any recommendations for a current bank account for a small business (Limited company) please? About 20 transactions per month, fluctuating balance of around 10k (so some interest would be good!), cheque book, transfers, paying in cheques, no cash, no overdraft. With online management of the account. Thanks!
