Opening Halifax Account Online

I opened a halifax current account at the weekend online. I received a letter from somebody called Halifax Nexus plc which was not printed on Halifax headed paper. Has anyone else had the same thing, is this right, I am worried that my details may have been intercepted by someone else.

Normally you will receive a letter asking you to provide your identification documents and a deposit of £100 if you asked for a debit card.
Just bring the letter, your indentification documents and £100 to a local branch. They will sort out for you. Then you will receive everything you need within 10 days time.0 -
This had a user name for the online banking and said that a password will be sent shortly. Just letter looked a little suspicious as it wasn't on Halifax notepaper and on the envelope it had Halifax Nexus plc.0

Nexus is genuine - it is their sorting office. Did it have a Leeds address?
Every letter that goes to a branch, usualy is then sent internally to Nexus, or faxed to Nexus
you will shortly receive your offer letter asking for id and £100 to activate account and order card0
