A suitable bank for me?

Hi Everyone,
I need some help in finding a new bank to do our banking with. The thing is that my DH and I need somewhere that will allow us to hold more than one current account. I'm currently with FD and we have >£1500 being paid in but we want to still want to switch away from them.
With FD we currently have:
* 2 Joint current accounts (one for the bills/mortgage to be paid out of) ad one for 'play' money (it means we never have to worry about how much we have to spend)
* A seperate current account in my name only. I use this as I get paid quarterly in advance (what a pain!), so I 'pay myself' money on a monthly basis from this account into the joint ones. (Since I am paid in advance i need to be careful to pro rata what i spend incase I leave and they'll want some back).
* 2 joint savings accounts. We need these things as we are saving for two projects at the moment. and we like to keep our money seperate.
With FD we can see all these accounts under one umbrella online and can transfer money freely and instantly around. Do other banks allow you to have >1 current account? I looked at A&L but they want >£500 a month into a current account (no prob for the bills account, but the play account gets less, and mine only gets a (big) deposit every 3 months).
What a pickle, FD was great...why did they have to start charging......

I have two current a/cs with Lloyds TSB. At the moment there is about £750 a month going into one, which is then divvied out between the other current account, my savings account and my husband's savings account.
However I have been a LTSB customer for years. (Although the savings accounts and second current account have been opened only within the last two years). I don't know whether they ask new customers for minimum deposits these days.
Worth a try!
Meant also to say we can see the accounts online. If I login I can see every account with my name on it. (Current a/c #1, which is joint with my husband, current a/c #2, which is joint with my son, and my savings account).
If my husband logs in, he can see everything with his name on it (our joint account and his savings account).
Transactions can be done easily and instantly online between accounts, payments made to other accounts, bills paid etc.etc.(AKA HRH_MUngo)

Imagine someone holding forth on biology whose only knowledge of the subject is the Book of British Birds, and you have a rough idea of what it feels like to read Richard Dawkins on theology: Terry Eagleton0
