Should I just get a phone installed?
Like many people on the forum, I'd love to leave Virgin Broadband. They've hiked up my bill by £17.50 in the last 2 months (£40 for internet only) and their service is abysmal. I've tried to look for better / different deals elsewhere but I seem to be stuck in a corner, as I don't have a BT Line installed and it seems thar…

I rang TT and spent 15 minutes explaining we had both agreed a fixed price contract for 18 months and that legally that could not be…

Compensation from EE for no broadband
Has anyone managed to get any compensation from EE for broadband issues. They aren't in automatic compensation scheme, although BT is, and I believe they may be joining at some stage. I've an ongoing complaint for non working broadband for over 4 weeks. Had x3 open reach engineers, multiple online tests, x2 routers. Was…

Solution for WiFi issues due to thick walls
Hoping that someone can help. I'm with Plusnet and the speed of the FTTC connection is no problem. The issue is that the hugely thick flint walls in the cottage prevent a continuous signal throughout the house. It may be an advantage that although the walls are very thick, the floors/ceilings are just wood and lathe &…
