Compensation from EE for no broadband

Has anyone managed to get any compensation from EE for broadband issues. They aren't in automatic compensation scheme, although BT is, and I believe they may be joining at some stage.
I've an ongoing complaint for non working broadband for over 4 weeks. Had x3 open reach engineers, multiple online tests, x2 routers. Was told wouldn't be charged going forward until resolved, and of course got a bill for full month a week later. Many mistakes & non communication along the way, and at 1 point a solution to my problem was an offer to leave or wait a bit longer. I have finally had enough, as yet another deadline they set has passed with no update, and wanted out and compensation. Got offered £10 compensation initially!!!! I've escalated up through various teams, now getting referred to ombudsman. Although resolution executive has asked me to hang on another few days while he investigates the breakdown of process, and what "I say I was told" a bit further!!
