Is it worth it paying for broadband about twenty something per month including line rental when you can get unlimited internet for about half that sim only deal
Is it ok to use your mobile device for all your internet only?
We got about 14-22 download speeds from broadband and I can get better than that sim only deals

danjackson2021 Are you 100% for real saying that you can get unlimited data/ internet for about £15 pcm from sim only?If you are please elaborate, I'm seriously interested, since moveing to Shell from Sky my ADSL speed halves. Acording to Shell this is not called throttleing. A complaint has been received by the ombudsman0

It only worth to try if you have good speed with three. Other network too expensive
Go to three and enter your post code at home broadband
If the broadband is available in your area, it means the mobile data speed is not congested in your area.
Order a free three data sim to check the internet speed.
If you are happy, buy your own 4G router and sign up to sim only deal.
As far as I knew, the cheapest way to get a 4G mifi or 4G router is signing up to 30 days contract to three & PAC it out once min term ends.
For the cheapest sim only plan, check out cash redemption deals at online retailer like affordablemobiles, fonehouse, etc (Don't forget TCB or Quidco when order)
It is at £11 after redemption for 12 months contract at the moment.
I have seen £6 after redemption last month.

I'm in a rural location with slow adsl broadband and only get a decent mobile signal on Vodafone. I'm currently using a Lebara unlimited sim for £25 , which is comparable with many fixed line broadband providers, and get 20-30 mbps, and a decent signal in an old cottage. (I've had faster by moving the router about, but am still playing about with the best location as I also use wired connection for my work VPN)
I'm using a huawei B525 router from ebay , using its internal aerials only. It will accept 64 connected devices
If you get a good signal with 3, then it can be even cheaper2 -

Trying to decide if one of these myfi boxes for about £17pm is better than a new contract unlimited sim in my phone
the box could stay in the house just like a modem but if someone takes the phone out then everyone in the house would lose internet1 -

i regularly watch high definition streamed movies with it, the issue comes when you use multiple devices at same time, that’s when there’s slight lag.If you believe you can, you will. If you believe you can't, you won't.

MrFrugalFever A MI-FI box withe screw on antenna would be better, or puting the mi-fi box on a window sill would help as well.
