Conned by Talk Talk - warning
Just wanted to warn people about signing up online to Talk Talk. I thought I was getting a decent deal with half price calls/TV and added Fibre. All very nice. Cheaper than BT so I was quite happy. Then it all went a bit wrong. I prepaid for the line rental as it was cheaper. On the day of the switch, I got an email saying…

No broadband or phoen for 2.5 weeks - what compensation should I expect?
So my broadband and phone went down. I reported fault, phoned, hassled and so on but it was 2 1/2 weeks before it was fixed. broadband - cable, no sport, no landline...
Please please please somebody tell me how I can subscribe to a simple, no frills, cable broadband service. I don't want a landline, I don't want a phone, I don't want a telly/sport package - I just want a cable connection to the internet! Is that too much to ask from these 'service providers'?? PS I live in Bristol.

check your sky broadband deal as not setup properly by Sky
Just noticed Sky did not setup my payments correctly for the recent deal. Add to that 15 minutes waiting in the queue and it'll be tuesday before…

MPs in the Culture, Media and Sport Committee are looking at superfast broadband and mobile coverage in "hard-to-reach" places in the UK.
