o2 broadband - websites unreachable or very slow
o2 used to be good. They are my first BB supplier (in 2008) but in the last few days there are SO many websites that are unreachable, including important banking sites. I phoned them today after being informed of THIS via another forum. Also in the Be There users forum apparently. When I phoned they were aware of a network…

Orange Mobile Broadband
Hi, I had a mobile broadband account with Orange for £15 p/m but have not used the service for a year now, I don't even have a dingle as it broke! I tried to cancel the account but was told that it would cost me a cancellation fee to do so and that I could cancel in November last year. I had a new baby arrive around that…

BT Infinity complaint
Anybody else had an issue along these lines? I was due to get BT Infinity installed yesterday (upgrading from their Broadband package) on the 40g limit package (Option 1). But last week another company rang me, and offered a cheaper deal which included the unlimited download package, plus daytime calls. So, rang BT on…

TalkTalk - Yay or Nay?
Hello There! I may not be as active as I'd like to be on these forums but I'm hoping some of you may be able to offer me some advice. I'm currently with Plusnet for my Internet and Telephone. I've never had any major problems nor have I ever had issues with my Broadband. In fact it's more stable than when I had Virgin…

Web hosting with unlimited email aliases
I'm looking for a web host that will also manage email for my domain. I need to be able to configure as many email aliases as I need but I only need one actual mail account. Catch-all isn't suitable since that may catch emails I don't want. I've looked through some web hosts and so far they all seem to have a limit. The…

Anyone know if they are covered by intellectual copyright? I was a well respected advisor on a forum for nearly 4 years. I was recently deleted ( not my choice) but my 1000's of posts remain but with my name / profile removed ( they just say anonymous user). I've been researching the law and think they may be infringing my…

I hate Talktalk!
To cut a very long story short. I let talktalk talk me into taking over my line rental as they were charging me for it even though I had a BT line and was paying for that as well. Since talktalk took over my line last Friday I have had no broadban d. I have called them almost every day since then, waiting hours on hold for…

Virgin Media vs Sky Talk Broadband
I have been using Sky Talk broadband for years now, and despite being given uncapped downloads, the download speed is exteremely poor. I've got a flyer through the post today with Virgin Media offering broad band. Is their lowest offering any better than Sky Talk? The package I want will cost me an extra £7 pounds a month…

Are Talk Talk as bad as some people say?
I know that broadband connections are affected by how close you are to exchanges. I was looking at changing to Talk Talk as they are so cheap, but loads of people on here say their Broadband connections speeds etc are dreadful. Does anyone know if this is in general, or are those people just further from the local…

Broadband advice
I have friends who live just outside of Lincoln who are struggling to find a decent broadband provider. It seems that anywhere outside of Lincoln city is considered rural and therefore doesn't warrant good service. They are currently with Sky, and are paying £15+ for a 2mb service. They have looked at Plusnet & Talk Talk…

Will canceling Direct Debit with O2 affect my credit rating
I am usually quite happy with O2, but this time unfortunately it will be nearly 2 months from the opening of the account until I get a line (home/broadband) installed. I have been issued with an invoice of about £56 which includes the line rental and the charge for an engineer (Open Reach) to come and fix the line. I am…
