Virgin Media vs Sky Talk Broadband

I have been using Sky Talk broadband for years now, and despite being given uncapped downloads, the download speed is exteremely poor. I've got a flyer through the post today with Virgin Media offering broad band. Is their lowest offering any better than Sky Talk? The package I want will cost me an extra £7 pounds a month compared to my Sky package, but i want to change purely because of broadband speed. Is it worth the extra £7? Any input will be much appreciated.

You could also try a tune up of your pc.., worth a try !

I was experiencing a slow pc and broadband speed for about four or five weeks before I had the time to investigate.

After following the advice in the above thread.., my pc is now running smooth again and also discovered that the extra security software from my bank was causing my broadband slow down

PC is now running smooth and broadband speed is up to max again
