Annoyed by BT
Hi All, I recently switched from BT to Sky, for phone, broadband, and tv. This took place on Feb 9th. My broadband stopped during the day, so I connected up to Sky's router, and it was all working, great! Today, Feb 16th, I received a letter from BT to tell me that my broadband will stop on Feb 11th, on the ball that BT!…

Sky Broadband 'for Sky customers only'
I've read a lot of posts on here/DigitalSpy about Sky customers ringing up and threatening to cancel, in an attempt to get a 50% 6 month reduction of their entire subscription. I'm nearly out of contract for TV (I have two months remaining for my initial 12 month deal on the HD portion of the deal). However, I would have…

Plusnet - Avoiding £25 activation fee?
Hi, Has anyone who has recently signed up to Plusnet for broadband only, managed to avoid the £25 activation fee? According to Martin's article, it's possible to avoid the fee if you pay line rental to them or BT and order by phone. However, I've spoken to a Sales rep who insisted that the only way to avoid the £25 fee is…

Want to cancel my talktalk order before golive date, anything I should know?
Basically starts out like this. I was on a 12 month contract with Bethere for £7.50 per month broadband + recently approx £10 per month landline, but as of March they are phasing out the 40gb service for the unlimited service but eventually I'd need to pay nearly double the broadband(£14.08). So I decided last week to go…
