Hi
I am currently in a very poor broadband area and I was thinking of getting the BT Iplate / BT Broadband Accelerator to boost my broadband.
I wanted to know if anyone has one of these already fitted and is it worth purchasing.
Thanks

If you don't have any extensions then it won't make any improvement.
If you do have extensions running off your master socket then the equivalent improvement can be achieved by removing the wires from pin 3 on the back of the master socket faceplate.

To summarise a waste of money. That gum you like is coming back in style.0 -
There is one situation where the iPlate is better than just removing the ring wire and that is if you run the router on a plugin extension. The money saving answer to that one though is DON'T.0
