Moving away from BT
I have subscribed to dial up and, then, broadband services from BT since time began. All has been well until the last few months where my service has suffered from disruption, faults and poor connection. I am now thinking of subscribing to another service provider but have the following concern. All the hardware, cable,…

Broadband Tax
I have just downloaded my paperless Virgin Bill, and was horrified to find that I have been charged the 50p Broadband tax that I thought had been slung out after the Election announcement!!! I know its only 50p, but Virgin seem to try everything to squeeze extra money out of its customers. Any suggestions, please?

Virgin Phone line, AOL broadband.........
I have been with AOL for years with a BT phone line. Now i've just signed up for a Virgin phone line as well as the TV. Does AOL work with a Virgin phone line? Or would I be better off getting Virgin Broadband as well?

Fax to computer deals?
I've probably put this in the wrong place - sorry - but this is the best I've found for free; granted the faxer pays 9.5p per minute. http://www.ukfreefax.co.uk/faxtoemailcosts.asp?mbrReferID=08720222734 Are there any deals out there that you know of where I can receive and send faxes for free?

I'm reluctant to leave AOL as i've been with them for years. Can anyone tell me how reliable Virgin Broadband is and whether it is…

Virgin Media cabinet faults - contacts?
Hi (Cutting long story short) I (and local council) have reported a faulty VM green cabinet several times in last few weeks - it's giving out a very very loud buzzing sound, constantly. I've had no contact from VM and no action has been taken. I phoned VM today and spoke to someone in an overseas call centre who claims…

Leaving BT at end of contract
I have BT Business Total Broadband for 2yrs ending May 2011. I want to leave BT at that point (to avoid paying for remainder of period anyway). Should be straightforward I know, but want to make sure I don't get caught out by auto-renewal or something. I also want to be sure of getting uninterrupted service at switchover…

Vodafone dongle
I should have known better as I've had trouble with them before, but they came up on a search as having the nearest mobile tower to my house so I ordered a PAYG dongle from Vodafone (on next-day delivery). After 3 or 4 days, no dongle. Mailed them and they said, oh, sorry, out of stock. But hadn't bothered to tell me! So I…

BT reduced possible line speed
Hi, We've been with orange broadband for over 2 years, we've had ups and downs. Like last summer we had ridiculously low speeds for a while but they picked up again. Overall its not been too much of a problem. We live in an area with no LLUs so the £19.99 we pay Orange for unlimited usage isn't really beaten by any other…

Switching to Plusnet
I'm currently in contract to BT for broadband until 15/4/10 and then want to switch to Plusnet Value. I'd like to take advantage of the £5.99 deal (my exchange is Market 3), which Plusnet have just told me is finishing tomorrow, and I'll go via TopCashBack for the £28 too. I don't think I'll be able to get a MAC from BT…

Virgin Media
I was wondering if anyone has had the same e-mail notice that I have had from Virgin. In it it states that I am on M tv, M phone, M bb, which I knew. It also stated that on 1st April it was going up, by £1.49. Then it stated that I was to get 5 new channels. It named them. But when I rang because I hadn't got them, they…

Best 'cheap' ISP for gaming
Hi, Just requested my MAC code from Pipex, bills suddenly got from 7.99 to 14.99. I'm rarely download, internet usage is mainly reading forums, sometimes youtube/iplayer. We do however use Xbox live, 2 accounts in the household. Both used quite a bit. Can anyone suggest a suitable ISP? p.s I am on O2 so should be eligible…
