what information do I need to move broadband to virgin media cable standalone and what is their lead time like

Cable broadband does'nt come over your existing phonline,if the is no cable service already in your home,then a fresh install will have to be done by a two man install crew.If the is already a cable service,be it active or inactive,then a one man crew can fir the bband line.
As for lead time,it depends on crew availability & vacant slots,especially with the two man crews as the are generally less of them.
Normally it's about a week but could be longer,could be less.Depends on the above.

When I had Virgin Media they had it up and running within a few days of ordering. However, friends have had to wait for two weeks or more so it's pot luck really.
The info you'll need:
- A MAC code from your previous provider (if migrating)
- Your postcode
- Card that you can use to set up a direct debit (Virgin only allow payment by direct debt)0 -
