Vodafone dongle

I should have known better as I've had trouble with them before, but they came up on a search as having the nearest mobile tower to my house so I ordered a PAYG dongle from Vodafone (on next-day delivery).
After 3 or 4 days, no dongle. Mailed them and they said, oh, sorry, out of stock.
But hadn't bothered to tell me!
So I cancelled the order, but had no reply.
Lo and behold, a week later they send an automated e-mail to say they are sending the dongle. I reply to say, I have cancelled this order. They still don't reply. Dongle turns up, I refuse to accept it so it will have been returned to them.
i mail them again saying have refused to accept it, do not charge me, but still no reply from them.
Now, another week on, guess what - they have debited my card.
Mailed them again - no reply.
disputed the transaction with my bank - awaiting their reply - unfortunately
it was debit card but smile are normally pretty good.
Meanwhile, I have had my Three dongle for 3 weeks and it works great - very pleased with it.

I didn't realise that they dropped by here.
They also have their own forum http://forum.vodafone.co.uk/index.php and are usually quite good getting problems sorted from there.0 -

Hi web ferret,
I'm afraid we haven't yet heard from slopemaster and as PM'ing has been disabled for Company Representatives we've no way of contacting them directly to see if they're still in need any of any assistance from us.
Hopefully slopemaster will come back to the thread soon with an update.
Thanks,
Lee
