Ntl master socket
If I have an Ntl box, with a master socket inside does this basically mean I have a phone line , and all I need to do is reconnect? I want to either use a phone package with Virgin to get a better deal for myself or go to O2 broadband.

TalkTalk Pro - Yay or nay?
So, I'm finally fed up with Virgin Media ADSL. I experience awful speeds in the evening (around 0.6Mbps down from 6.5Mbps during night/morning) despite only using the connection for web browsing and the odd bit of YouTube/iPlayer. BT's DLM system altered my target SNR and enabled interleaving recently after one of my…

Choices
I am moving into my own flat again soon, and am looking at choices for phone/broadband. As I am in a mobile contract for another year i am probably going to carry on using my mobile for calls as I would if I was still in rehab, so don't necessarily need a land line for calls. So that leaves broadband. I am *not* staying on…

Cannot find satisfaction re £4 from Plusnet
My daughter/son-in-law have recently had a BT phone line opened up in the house they have recently occupied and with the imminent expiry of a dongle, are considering Plusnet at £5.99 per month so when Martin's newsletter informed us of the free three months, equating to £4, our ears pricked up. BUT, as yet, neither of us…
