Choices

I am moving into my own flat again soon, and am looking at choices for phone/broadband.
As I am in a mobile contract for another year i am probably going to carry on using my mobile for calls as I would if I was still in rehab, so don't necessarily need a land line for calls.
So that leaves broadband. I am *not* staying on mobile broadband after recent events. Now I could get the BT basic phone line cos I'm on income support and then get my broadband somewhere else. Or if virgin is in my new area go with them.
So my questions are if I go with virgin which package do I get? I'm not really interested in the TV packages, and I surf the net, check e-mails and sometimes watch iplayer.
If I go with the BT basic for my phone line who should I go with for Broadband. I hope all of this makes some sense to someone *lol*

Broadband is exchange specific, impossible to give advice without knowing your exchange. Look on samknows for the LLU deals on your exchange, these will be cheapest.
