Talk Talk/Tisali price increase/looking for another provider

So, like some of you, I had a letter yesterday from Talk Talk telling me they had upgraded me (increased their prices) and I'm to like it or lump it basically and they'll be switching me over whether I like it or not next month. Well, thing is, I dont like it because basically Tiscali suck. I only stayed with them because they were cheap but they have given me hell so I'd like to leave. I was looking at the price comparison sites but I gotta say I just don't get it, I just don't get it...what do I need to look out for on these sites. I mean currently I am paying Tiscali £19.99 a month for all time everyhwere free calls plus line rental so really want the same sort of package. Anybody know of a package like this for a similar price with another provider??

You need to see who offer LLU options in your area as these are the cheapest packages.

What's LLU?0

Stands for Local Loop Unbundling
It is where the Broadband provider has installed their own equipment in the BT exchange, it means they only use the BT network for the bit from the exchange to your house.
It means cheaper deals normally. Beware of those such as TalkTalk, Sky etc. who will also take over your line rental because once they have you you will find it hard to get back to BT without 10 days or so of broadband downtime.0 -
Don't most providers include line rental now though?
Why are people thanking responses to my threads/questions lol0 -

No, many don't, including some of the better ones. Look at your LLU options rather than the minimal extra convenience of a bundled package. No free lunch, and no free laptop0
