Plusnet Value is fine, but unless you're on a Market 3 exchange it will cost you the same as Tesco (as mentioned in your other post)-the £5.99 offer only applies on Market 3 exchanges.
Check what other LLU options are available on your exchange.

No problems - Just make sure you contact the Sheffield office if you have a problem.
If you are a very heavy downloader you may get your speed throttled but thats only fair to those not using it a lot for their £5.99 a month.
If you are a heavy user, then use something else and expect to pay more.0 -
I used Plusnet broadband at work in our old office. The were very cheap and reliable.
One drawback was that most of the support was web based and at times the broadband speed was a little slow.
All in all I suppose I would use them again if all I wanted to do was emails and a little web browsing. If you are thinking of playing games such as X-Box live etc, I think you might be better looking elsewhere
Hope this helpsAdvice..........usually offered by someone recycling their bad experience:A0 -

I've had Plusnet since December. I'm on the Value package which is £5.99 month (plus I signed up through Topcashback and got £28 - which I have received). The value package is capped at 10gb (although its free between 12am and 8pm). If you exceed the cap they just 2gb and charge you £2. I haven't exceeded my cap, although I don't play games or watch films. If I have any big downloads I set them off at 12am. I've just downloaded a new map for my Tom Tom which is 2gb, but it just shows in my free allowance. I likethis option. You can monitor your usuage upto the previous 2 hours.
I think the speed is upto 8mb, but where I live the max I can get is 3-3.5, and every time I've checked this is what I am getting.
They have a very good user forum with lots of information. I'm glad I swapped from Sky. Very happy with them.
They are a wholly owned subsidiary of BT (bought about 2 years ago) although they operate as a seperate company.0 -
Same as above, very happy.0

My parents recently switched to Plusnet Value and the customer service has been great.
I signed them up after reading some positive reviews (eg: http://www.chooseisp.co.uk/broadband-providers/plusnet.asp) and, so far, its all been correct.
Hope this helps0 -
