LLU broadband
I am currently with Wanadoo and are leaving to go to a cheaper provider. When I finally got Wanadoo to give me my MAC code, they warned me that I have an LLU exchange and not every other company would be able to move me over. I was going to go with Primus (after receiving my phone call) but they say I will have to cancel…

Broadband with no minimum contract??
Hi all. I'm just wondering if anyone can recommend a broadband provider with no minimum contract. I just want to use the internet for july and august so do not want to pay for a full 12 months. I did have a browse around but it seems many of the companies require a 12-month contract. Thanks. :-)

AOL broadband with Voyager 100 modem?
AOL no longer supports the Voyager 100 modem. I found out when I was cut off on Wednesday. If you have a Voyager 100 modem, I suggest that you pester AOL to supply you with a new modem. I've now got a Voyager 190 Ethernet modem and my upload/download speeds are now mega fast.

Broadband upstairs ...
All I wanna do is get broadband on my computer (which is upstairs) without too much expense. I've put in a new extension and that worked fine until I fixed the cable to the walls - and then it stopped working so I'm back to trailing wires. Anyone any (simple!) ideas?

Orange/Wanadoo pushing up the premiums of PAYG dial-up.
...According to an e-mail I got from them yesterday. I'm not aware of any other provider that charges more than 0845 rates for 'casual' dial-up access. The only effect I can see this having is their PAYG customer base evaporating, or will others follow suit?

Anyone with Metronet had their speed upgraded yet?
Hi, We're currently with Metronet. A few months ago (Christmas?) we were looking to move providers, as the speed from Metronet seems to have got worse and worse - we are only on 0.5MB (signed up ages ago before higher speeds were so common) but that is fine for us really, except we're not even getting that. Anyway, just as…

I am moving into another flat, and need to set up ADSL services for both my new flatmate and myself. Can anyone please tell me, with one account at a normal ADSL ISP, can both of us log into the Internet at the same time, with separate computers? That is, do normal ISPs allow multi users of a single account? Apparently…
