Broadband upstairs ...

All I wanna do is get broadband on my computer (which is upstairs) without too much expense. I've put in a new extension and that worked fine until I fixed the cable to the walls - and then it stopped working so I'm back to trailing wires. Anyone any (simple!) ideas?

Next time you fix the cable to the wall, make sure you keep it well away from any mains cables and don't hammer the clip nails through the cable.

Do you have the extension plugged in to a filter? There shouldn't be a filter before the extension.0
