Can I leave OneTel and keep email address?
Trying to get my parents off OneTel ADSL (and phone). They used to have a dialup acct with OneTel before ADSL and with same email addresses. If we move the ADSL account to another provider will they lose the email addresses? Do I need to say anything to OneTel to keep the email addresses?

Broadband speed
At the moment I am signed up to Tiscali's 1mb service yet my connection only averages about 500kbps - I know there are lot of variables (distance from BT exchange etc), but is this really low or just something I am going to have to accept...? Any advice much appreciated...

If you have seen either this number 0870 160 1348 or 0870 160 1349 on your phone bill then don't panic as I have spent weeks tracking it down thinking I had a rogue dialler which was dialling up every few hours when in fact it belongs to the BT Home Montioring service as my alarm was communicating with the monitoring…

Belkin Modem and Wireless G Router
I have a pounding headache and feel utterly thick! My AOL kept 'falling over' and finally my dsl cable connection broke. Mmmm I thought I will use this opportunity to go 'wireless' ( I thought that my pc which is a million miles from my telephone socket would not need to be physically connected to my pc if I had a network…

E7 opinions
I am tempted by the 2Mbps 12 months -120 pounds offer by E7 broadband. https://www.e7broadband.com/index.html Given I read their name here, could you comment on them? I am not particularly interested in speed, but more in reliability (i.e. being able to be online all the time even slow).

Broadband Speed Test
What with all of the offers etc to do with Broadband etc, thought that you might like a look at this piece of safe, independent software. It runs from its current location - so no installation required. http://www.speedtest.ndo.com/ Nice ;)

Great offer from Bulldog not to cancel
Hi, I shifted over to Bulldog 6 months ago. The offer was unlimited 8meg broadband and telephone line rental for £26 for 6 months. The start was rocky but eventually things settled down. Since the six months were up I called in to give my notice. I got a call from retention department who offered another 6 months for £17.5…

Unlimited free dial up internet no phone charges
Apologies if this has been posted before. I have enjoyed unlimited free dial up internet access for the past 3 years. I use AOL to get 2 months free - you can use either their 2 month free offer discs or use the 1 month free offer disc and when you phone to cancel after 1 month, they offer you another month free. Once your…

Switching to capped service question
I've been with freedom 2 surf for just over a year now on unlimited package at 512kb. When I log into my account with them it shows my monthly bandwith usage to be around about 1200MB a month, I've only ever gone over 2000MB once during the year by 86MB. They do a lite package with a cap of 2GB and if you go over you can…
