BRO Question
I was wondering about if I went bankrupt and got a BRO for say 4 to 6 years for example would that mean if I had an IPA, that I understand lasts for 3 years(?) Would I have to keep paying it for the years I've got the BRO for, also if any inheritance should come my way during the BRO term would that be claimed by the OR?…

i was made bankrupt this morning what a relief :D everything was ok i even saw the judge. just a question why does the or need to phone me? will my bankruptcy get cancelled? also i phoned one of my companys up i owe money to to cancell the direct debit as it comes out next week of my partners bank account the bloke didnt…

What is considered an assett in Bankruptcy?
Just looking through the forms and wondering do i have to list my clothes books, DVD's, dvd player (worth about £20 now I reckon if that) etc... Is there any advice sheets which tell us what we need to list and what is not considered an assett in bankruptcy. Thanks in advance for any replies

I have sent letters to creditors asking for contact in writing only but I have had a phone call from one saying that they can not do that and they need to phone me. Is this right I thought that I was allowed to request this. I would like to know for sure so I am prepared for the next time. Thanks

printed off forms, what do i need to sign?
okay, i've printed off my 3 copies and i'm not sure if i need to fill in anythng on the first few pages by hand or what I should or shouldn't sign now? dont want mess the forms up. Can i just sign the declaration in section 12 and then do the rest with the clerk on monday?

was pronounced bankrupt today at 11.51am. I was up nice and early at 7am. feed my baby daughter whose 7 months old got her dressed had tea myself, put all the documents in my bag + the fees. i'm going to court on monday in central london, will i see the OR after i see the judge? also does anyone know how long u normally wait for your proper OR interview, i've read some people get their interviews within 2-3 weeks, my mum reckons it will be longer because its london?

If your wages go up whilst in an IPO/A
Does the amount you have to repay reflect this? ie will your repayments go up also? or once you start an ipo thats what you pay for 3 years?

Hi everyone, Just thought i'd update you all....me and OH were officially declared bankrupt at 12.31 today....very weird feeling. The whole process was ok, i wouldn't put it up there with the best days of my life BUT it could've been alot worse. Didn't have to see the judge....relief..... but we now have to wait over two…
