Early Discharge

Hi Guys

I have been reading through various posts on Early discharge for bankruptcy and I have read so much I am bamboozled!!

I went bankrupt in 2005 after various things went wrong for me. I was discharged in November 2005. I have read on here that your credit file should of been updated to show this but mine is still showing as defaulted on most but partially settled on others. Under Court information it still says Bankrupt. I know there is a big post about what to do to sort it but I'm confused. Do I wait for the 6 years to go by or do I write to the creditors and ask them to update my credit file?

I am sorry I have asked this if its obvious but I need help lol
