                    Hi all
Had a full session with the CCCS last night who agree with my own thoughts over the last few weeks in that br is the best way forwards. First hurdle over with so now whilst I save the fees I have a few questions.
1, When I look at doing my soa do I complete as is now or do I complete it as per my situation when I go br. Reason I ask this is because I will be moving in with OH and handing back the keys to my own house thus my rent and bills will be different when that happens.
2, when looking at what I will be paying when moving in with OH my idea was to split all bills including her mortgage down the middle and post that as my outgoings but as she earns more than me CCCS were suggesting I should only assume 40% of the bills. This will impact on what I pay once br and I will be paying half so doesnt seem right ??
Also is just taking half her outgoings realistic or would I be better rather than co-habiting say im renting off a friend as a way of keeping things simple ?
3, during the next couple of months I will be paying nothing to any creditors this will enable me to save the £600 and ill also have a surplus amount of cash. I nee dto put car through MOT and buy tyres for it as I want to buy back (with OH help, my car from OR) I was also hoping to book a flight to the states as we were planning on going there in October (only talking £500 as we are staying with her sis so its a cheap holiday). Would this level of spending just before br be deemed frivalent ?
4, If my registered address is my address on day of br but i move with OH that day as well which paper will my br be posted, the one for my home town or hers (dont wish her to be associated with it at all)
Im sure I will have more questions during the course of the next few months but appreciate any thoughts and advices on these

This will impact on what I pay once br and I will be paying half so doesnt seem right ?? Seems fair enough.
Also is just taking half her outgoings realistic or would I be better rather than co-habiting say im renting off a friend as a way of keeping things simple ? Just tell the truth as it is.

Yes, there is no way the OR would accept this, you are going BR therefore should not be looking at what the OR would deem an extravagant holiday. Any amount that is allowed for a holiday on your SOA is seen to be a modest break in the UK.
4, If my registered address is my address on day of br but i move with OH that day as well which paper will my br be posted, the one for my home town or hers (dont wish her to be associated with it at all) If you are moving in with her on that day include both addresses.
Im sure I will have more questions during the course of the next few months but appreciate any thoughts and advices on these
 Hope this helps?:pB&SC No. 298

We are in the same position, My parents have paid, booked for us to go as a family to the USA. We are currently saving for BR aswell and dont have to pay anything towards the holiday. Thank goddness, they are treating us as we are having a rough time at the moment. I'm just worried is this allowed ??? My parents have no idea we are going BR as they would be devastated and I really don't want them to find out.0

All I need to find is the flight which in all honesty wouldnt have been possible but by not paying my creditors including my mortgage as im giving up the house I am able to fund this.
I am actually on a mortgage holiday this month which I managed to convince mortgage company to give me whilst I bought some time to make some decisions, I wonder if paying for a flight would be ok on the back of that just be nice to have something to look forward too. 0 just be nice to have something to look forward too. 0

If someone else is paying for you I don`t think that would be a problem but I may be wrong! but if you are planning to go BR then you should not be looking at a holiday in the USA if you are paying for it yourself. I think you could be in trouble with the OR if you go ahead and do it.:pB&SC No. 298

Technically, if you buy flights tickets before he bankruptcy, they would would be an asset in your bankruptcy, whether the OR would do anything is a different matterHi, im Debtinfo, i am an ex insolvency examiner and over the years have personally dealt with thousands of bankruptcy cases.
Please note that any views i put forth are not those of my former employer The Insolvency Service and do not constitute professional advice, you should always seek professional advice before entering insolvency proceedings.0
